Your sponsorship helps to pay for the conduct of the parade. Lawrence Veterans Day Parade Association (LVDPA) pays for public safety items such as police overtime, street barricades, city permit fees, city-ordinance-mandated liability insurance coverage, and portable restroom rentals.
Every dollar you contribute goes to the parade itself or to veterans in need that reside in Douglas County. We do not use professional fundraisers.
We are an IRS 501(c) charity and donations are tax deductible. We are properly registered with the State of Kansas to solicit for charity. We will provide written tax receipts
